Cooper Landing – Community Spotlight

At the turquoise headwaters of the mighty Kenai River and nestled in the mountains, this community is the perfect choice for those who want to “get away from it all.” With a population less than 300, there is plenty of opportunity to reflect and relax in peace. Hiking trails are numerous, the fishing is excellent, and there is even the opportunity to prospect for gold. Cooper Landing is still on the road system, an hour in either direction will get you to the neighboring towns of Soldotna or Seward if you need supplies.
